Our top brekky & coffee choices this weekend

In no particular order, here are out top brekky & coffee choices heading into the weekend!

#1 – The Foreshore Cafe

Located in Nightcliff, we love the relaxed cafe Darwin vibes at the Foreshore Cafe. They have a great menu, including delicious acai bowls, chocolate banana pancakes and smashed avo!

#2 – Nutrition Station

We actually really love Nutrition Station! It’s one of those places that caters for plenty of different people with their huge menu. We always opt for the “Forever Energy” protein smoothie, a coffee and the chilli poached eggs with haloumi. So yum!

#3 – Alley Cat Darwin

Located in the city, Alley Cats is always a great to place to go when you want to find something both healthy + unhealthy (have you seen their extreme milkshakes!?). They have a vegan and vegetarian options too.

#4 – Sweet Brew & Co.

Alley Cat’s sister, Sweet Brew is another one of our faves. The inside decor makes us feel super hipster, but we love it of course. Great coffee & great food options. Don’t leave without sweets and flowers!

#5 – Cafe Eco

If you’re in the city and you feel like eating somewhere healthy, Cafe Eco is your friend. We absolutely loved the vegan meatballs & coffee on offer. It’s a cute little place with both inside & outside seating.

#6 – Harvest Coffee Shop

If you live in the ‘burbs (“Nothern Suburbs”, if you’re no gangsta), Harvest Coffee Shop is a great place to go. It’s super chill, with friendly staff and great coffee. Perfect for mums & bubs with a playground around the corner.

We found a happy face in our coffee!

#7 – Lucky Bat Cafe

Man oh man, do we love the Lucky Bat Cafe! We love their menu as it caters for all types of people – vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, meat eaters. They serve great coffee in a relaxed friendly atmosphere. Check out their outside garden in the dry season!

#8 – Moskos Market

Located in Palmerston, this place is great for a coffee catch up. Great food options for the vegetarians too!

#9 – Laneway Specialty Coffee

Laneway is definitely one of our faves. We love their huge wholesome meals that makes us feel so full afterwards. Great ambience and we love their native flowers on the tables! Don’t leave without a sweet!

#10 – Boatshed Coffee House

Located in Cullen Bay, the Boatshed Coffee House serves up great food, delicious (but huge) coffee and stunning waterside views. Try their famous “Fatty Boomba” or their “Skinny Boomba” (slightly smaller Fatty Boomba) at least!
